May 17 2012 - In: Truth and Lies Radio Show David
A wide variety on today´s show included:
- Risky big bank strategy
- The presence of China in the U.S. banking system
- The completely predictable pressure on Sheriff Arpaio
- Gold, and why the government could seize it
Starting with risky banks, it is a source of great puzzlement why people assume that the bigger a bank is, the more secure it is. In the wake of the global crisis we have first hand evidence of banks over-lending, taking poor decisions and ignoring regulations. They are more responsible for the global crisis than offshore financial centers.
Banks invest your money, that is how they make profit. If everyone wanted to take their money out of a bank, they couldn´t. Investment can be risky and as JPMorgan show, banks can get it horribly wrong, to the tune of $2 BILLION. Nick Leeson once collapsed a big bank on his own, don´t believe it cannot happen again:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-18030022
China is buying banks in the U.S. David is worried about this for several reasons (as regular listeners know he is not a big fan of China) and the Feds allowing the Chinese to expand into the heart of the U.S. financial system cannot be a good thing. The Chinese are buying up gold and clearly want to control the world currency – they are also the biggest holders of U.S. debt. David doubts, however, how much will be made of this:
“I´m afraid that most Americans don´t understand how bad Red China is, what their goals are and, unfortunately, there´s an awful lot of Americans who couldn´t find China on a map”
That may sound far-fetched, but check this out if you want to be surprised:

Joe Arpaio is being sued for racial discrimination against latinos. He operates in Arizona with an extremely high percentage of latino immigrants, many of whom cannot speak English, so in what may become a regular question on T&L we ask:
WHAT IS HE SUPPOSED TO DO?
We suspect that this has a little more to do with Obama´s ´birth certificate´ than racial profiling……
Gold – David has often talked about how valuable it is, and has often spoken about how easily the government could take it away from you, it has happened before. The government doesn´t like you to have gold as it limits their power to control what is going on. Having gold onshore makes it risky, but offshore it is less of a low hanging fruit and more difficult to seize. If you are interested in ways to invest in gold safely and anonymously – please visit:

David´s guest today was his nephew and technical correspondent Nick Finzer, who came on to talk about computer security, viruses and malware, how they spread and how to protect against them. He also talked about phishing pages and encryption.
Nick also mentioned that an FBI link to check if your computer has been infected with the DNS changer virus is safe to use, it is worth clicking on the link to see if your computer gets the ´green light´

Thursday 10 May Broadcast
May 16 2012 - In: Truth and Lies Radio Show David
After the customary FATCA countdown (click on the FATCA logo on the right hand side for details) David focused on the following topics:
- The Federal Reserve
- Gay marriage and religion in society
- The U.S. Debt
Congress is apparently debating whether to abolish the Federal Reserve. Regular listeners will be more than aware of David´s opinion on the matter, but it seems that Ron Paul is making proposals on the matter. Two things have apparently been agreed:
- 1. The Federal Reserve, as it stands, is hurting the US
- 2. Something needs to be done about it.
Paul is in favor of balancing the books and wiping out U.S. debt by pulling out of wars the U.S. has no business being in, and encouraging economic growth. There is a documented effect called the multiplier effect, where $1 dollar invested, becomes someone else´s income, which gets spent on something etc etc. Stimulating economic growth and encouraging economic activity is the only way out of the current mess.
Gay marriages cause a lot of controversy, and it should be made clear that David fully endorses the right of everyone to have their opinions and do what they want, if it doesn´t adversely affect others. However from a strictly religious point of view, there is no way that religiously they should be permitted.
The fact itself is perhaps not so controversial, but seems to be another way of catering to the people´s rights movements, who demand disabled facilities where there are no disabled people etc.
David´s guest today was Mike Guard, standing in for the ´too ill to speak´ Juan Torres. They talked about jury nullification, the criminalization of everything, why people lose respect for the law and what constitutes freedom of speech:

Wednesday 9 May Broadcast
May 15 2012 - In: Truth and Lies Radio Show David
Topics for today focused on:
- Obamacare and the unconstitutional nature of it
- The U.S.deficit problem
- Race issues
- Predicting the future in law enforcement
David has touched on many of these issues before but it is worth starting with an:
I TOLD YOU SO moment
Yesterday, on Scott and Tim´s America, David predicted that the ´Underwear bomber´ was a fake story and today it has proved to be just that. No, David is not a psychic, but as with any scam or fraud, there are always red flags. Why would such a secretive government so openly disclose details of a plot that may actually give ideas to potential terrorists?
The answer was that it seems the government is intent on terrorizing its own citizens so they will accept any unconstitutional legislation they come up with. The plot, it turns out, was under full control of the CIA and the government has lied:
“The greatest liars are the ones who are trying to convince you that you should give up essential liberty for safety”
We have seen this before. 9/11 was a terrible event and the government abused the feeling of the U.S. population in general to sign into law the Patriot Act, which most people assumed was a defensive measure. The NDAA followed, as have SOPA and PIPA and who knows what else. Many more are undoubtedly in the pipeline.
Race issues are always sensitive but it seems like the government, through the media, have a vested interest in the Zimmerman / Martin case. Race is being used to explain a lot of social inequality that could and should be explained by drive, ambition, intelligence and work ethic. A tragic event is in danger of being overshadowed by the government playing the race card and one may wonder if so much attention would be given if the colors had been reversed.
It seems the Post Office has been heavily subsidized to keep it going as it is being decimated by social networking sites. It will doubtless need further subsidies in the future, but David decided to come up with a good story to illustrate the full value of these workers:

Many of you may have seen the Tom Cruise movie Minority Report, about predicting crimes. Ridiculous right?, but it seems the government is intent on trying it. When you combine that with the power to arrest without cause or trial provided by the NDAA and you have a scary potential scenario…..

Tuesday 8 May Broadcast
May 14 2012 - In: Truth and Lies Radio Show David
Topics on today´s show included:
- Obama and his destruction of the constitution
- Socialism in France
- The underwear bomber – David´s prediction that it is a hoax
- The US debt
Obama is never far from the news when it comes to unconstitutional actions, and the signing of an executive order promoting international regulatory cooperation is just another step in the wrong direction. The difference between civil and common law is key here, as this order is one step towards standardizing international law. Let´s take a look at what the Maybe President has achieved:
- Failing to repeal the Patriot Act
- The signing of the NDAA
- The HR347 – also known as the ´Anti-Protest´ Bill
The French have elected another socialist president, Francois Hollande, who wants to make France a nation of equality and fairness. David introduced France by saying:
“France, America´s sometimes ally, the only country that was allied with both the allies and Hitler during the Second World War”
It is worth pointing out that you cannot have equality and fairness. If you enforce equality then you are denying liberty, a prerequisite of fairness. David predicts another 7 years of amusement from France.
David went on to talk about the supposed ´underwear bomber´ and casts a serious doubt as to the authenticity of this story. David expressed this doubt live on Scott and Tim´s America before this show, so you can check for yourselves. David pointed out that of 20 so-called terrorist plots thwarted, 17 were government orchestrated, David is convinced this is a fictitious event:
“They wouldn´t put this all over the front page if it was real as it would let terrorists know how much they know …. it is to keep the American people purposefully terrorized”
The U.S. debt is something that is not going anywhere, it stands at close to $18 TRILLION at an average of $138,313 per taxpayer. U.S. debt now represents 103% of TOTAL GDP – it is greater than total U.S. output for a year. David then talks about U.S. total debt, including loans, mortgages etc:

May 11 2012 - In: Truth and Lies Radio Show David
David kicked off today´s show by talking about Ron Paul and his fight for liberty, and it seems he is doing better than expected at drumming up support and David urges people to vote for him, even if he doesn´t ultimately win:
“It is better to light one candle than curse the darkness”
Paul is a libertarian and it is his ideas, not the man himself, that we should focus on, as they are non-hypocritical and consistent, unlike Romney:

David goes on to talk about the education system in the U.S. and how more and more money is being spent on poorer standards. Dumbing down the standards to accommodate the stupid and lazy sounds great and socialist, but is hardly a recipe to make America great:
“An uneducated electorate cannot and will not fight back … American´s have lost the vision of a better future”
People who are unable to study and pass exams should not be able to vote as they certainly won´t be able to understand what they are voting for.
The next segment concerned the national debt, with some incredible numbers. The debt currently stands at $15.7 TRILLION dollars, which works out at $50,089 per citizen BUT $138,296 per TAX PAYER. Total GDP is $15.14 trillion, so debt exceeds GDP, it is a worrying scenario. To make you feel better David focused on some of the ways the government wastes your money, which include:
- A portion of $592,000 spent on researching why chimps throw faeces
- A university being awarded $198,000 to research whether social networking sites make us happy
- $6279 used to purchase 13 snow cone machines in Michigan
- $3 billion spent on an abandoned attempt to create a second engine for the F35 fighter plane

Friday 4 May Broadcast
May 10 2012 - In: Truth and Lies Radio Show David
Topics today included:
- Does the government need to obey its own law?
- EU plot to destroy Britain
- UKIP and their progress
- Internet security, what to do and why it is important
On yesterday´s show David spoke to attorney Juan Torres about law in the U.S. One interesting fact to learn was that the government is, to an extent, able to exclude itself from its own law, and engage in activities that would land you or I in jail.
On to the EU, not David´s favorite organization, and they are now attempting to create an all powerful EU President and will attempt to destroy Britain which, not dealing in the EURO, has managed to avoid to some extent the crisis eating away at most of the EU member states.

Sticking with politics and it is encouraging to see the UK Independence Party (UKIP) making progress in the local elections. David believes that the right to vote is the most important right (political and legal) that we possess and we should take advantage of it. UKIP is full of dedicated, free-thinking and talented young individuals, and they deserve support.
The internet has brought us many things but privacy is NOT one of them. Hackers, carelessness and sneaky government activity mean we are extremely exposed by the technology that facilitates our everyday lives. On that note, today´s guest was none other than David´s nephew, Nick Finzer who talked about internet security, encryption, internet tracking, passwords and viruses:

Thursday 3 May Broadcast
May 9 2012 - In: Truth and Lies Radio Show David
Topics from today´s show included:
- Obamacare and some negative side effects it may have
- Brainwashing and the impact of the media
- Government entrapment and the justice system
Obamacare is back in the news as it turns out that many employers are thinking of dumping health care plans for their employees as it would actually turn out to be cheaper to pay the penalty tax. The numbers make interesting reading:
“Of the 71 Fortune 500 companies that responded to a survey, savings of $28.6 BILLION would be achieved in total from all the companies in 2014 alone by simply paying the fine instead of offering affordable health insurance”
Obama, supposedly, wants universal health care – but disincentives are evident in the entire scheme.
David went on to talk about the news and how much of it we can trust, and if it is even news. As David said, in a way that only he can:
” … today the news is, at best, entertainment and at worst pure mind numbing crap”
It is important to consider how few major corporations actually control the news, meaning that very few people take the decisions as to what actually makes the news and what does not. Only a few big corporations are involved, all of which are in bed with the government.
Alternative sources of information are being sought by the individuals who still want to use their brains, but the government, with legislation such as SOPA and PIPA, is trying to control the internet. David is convinced that if the governments of the world attempt to control the internet, then many hackers and individuals will fight back. It is attempted political brainwashing and here is what David had to say about it:

The last few segments of the show were focused on the legal system in the U.S. and David led with a story about the FBI entrapment of 5 left wingers who were arrested for attempting to blow up a bridge.
The guest for today was Juan Torres, a lawyer and a friend of David´s who went on to talk about entrapment, the limits that government law officials should have, how ´just´ the justice system is and if belief in the U.S. justice system is slowly dying.

Topics for today´s Obama themed show included:
- Obamacare! Issues taken with the penalty tax
- Massive planned tax increases
- The GCF demands for diplomatic immunity
- Using the military for political gain
Back to Obamacare and the Supreme Court has taken up the issue of the penalty tax. The constitutionality of the fine/tax is under examination, a financial penalty which is assessed against any person who choses not to purchase health insurance, or is unable to. This would mark the first instance of people being penalized for not purchasing a service.
The matter at hand focuses very much on whether the payment constitutes a penalty or a tax, or as the solicitor general called it, a penalty tax, best of both worlds eh! In possibly our favorite clip here at T&L we will let the solicitor general, the chief attorney in favor of Obamacare, explain it in his own eloquent way:

House democrats have proposed raising taxes by 40%. A new budget would aim to slash the current budget deficit from the current $1.1 trillion to $180 billion by 2022, but this would be achieved entirely through taxation. Increases on just about every tax imaginable are planned – including a wealth tax. The thinking is that high taxes don´t hurt economic growth, I think you´ll find Margaret Thatcher and JFK, in particular, wouldn´t agree:

The Green Climate Fund (GCF) has demanded diplomatic immunity. Funds available to them runs into the billions, a lot of which has gone unaccounted for. I wonder if diplomatic immunity, which would leave them free from scrutiny, legal challenges and audits, would possibly result in a few people´s wallets getting heavier …
Obama has used his decision to send Navy Seals to kill Osama Bin Laden for political gain. While it is true that it was authorized by the Maybe President, it is being twisted to show Obama as a tough and decisive leader, which has angered former, and doubtless current, Seals. Ryan Zinke, a former U.S. Navy commander, had this to say:
“I think every president would have done the same. He is justified in saying it was his decision but the preparation, the sacrifice – it was a broader team effort. The President and his administration are positioning him as a war president using the SEALs as ammunition. It was predictable …”
– Ryan Zinke
Apple, maker of great looking music decices and overpriced technology are also apparently masters of tax avoidance. While posting record profits, don´t assume this is entirely down to their technology, they also have corporate strategies that take advantage of gaps in the tax code – which saves them a fortune and costs the public up to $2.4 BILLION a year.
Nice to know that big corporations can get away with this for decades with no action planned while FATCA looms for the rest of us…..
